Redline ad
I came across this ad I shot over the summer of Josh Hult for Redline Bikes. Sometimes a photo doesn't quite do it justice. This is one of those situation. What you can't tell from the photograph is that Josh is at an all out sprint to 20' wedge to wedge. I never told Josh to go as fast as he did. He did that all on his own!

Sneak peak of the new cover
I just got a text message from Drew Bezanson saying how psyched he was on the cover. I can only say the same thing from just having seen it. The covers for March. My birthday is in March. Small world!
Drew has amazing talent. "This kid is the future of BMX," Simon Tabron.
I just came across another video of Drew. He's in control but out of control at the same time!

L.A.
So, I'm working on my B.F.A. project and I needed of some cool backgrounds. I thought it would be fun to go down to L.A. in the middle of the night except for the fact that I was a little worried about theft. Since I didn't want to go by myself I thought it would be fun to see if Bryan wanted to join me. I figured if the situation were to get bad, I could always say, "hey, take his camera (Bryan's), it's twice as much as mine"! Not really. I would have ended up giving the guy mine as long as I got the cf card. It was a blast. We spent about 5 hours shooting two locations. I thought it would have taken a lot less time. Here's a photo I snapped while Bryan was making fun of my plastic tripod. No camera movement! Not bad for a plastic tripod. I now know what to get Bryan for his birthday.

Bryan Niven Reality Shoot
Over the summer I had the opportunity to assist Bryan Niven for a Xango Reality Shoot in Wisconsin. It was a lot of fun being able to travel with Bryan and help him with his Reality Shoot! The rolling hills and the bright colors reminded me of the two years I spent in St. Louis. It was a refreshing break from the fast paced life of L.A. to the quiet life of the midwest. People actually have backyards in the midwest! It was a fun learning experience and I happened to come across the biggest fish known to man! Thanks again Bryan. Dainon... thanks for the photo!
Here's the video from our trip.
